Ajman Statistic and Competitiveness Center has started the phase of external evaluation for measuring the statistical maturity level of the local government and independent bodies, where the specialized experts and the index evaluators held remote meetings with a number of the officials of the government bodies and departments via Microsoft Team program, in order to gauge the level of maturity of the official records of the local government and independent bodies and entities, their knowledge about the importance of statistics and their uses and the extent of their application to provide high quality data to be used in making decisions.

“ Statistics & Competitiveness” Increase Of Marriage Contracts in Ajman During The First Half of 2021

The marriage report issued by Ajman Statistics & Competitiveness Center (ASCC) revealed that number of marriage contracts in Ajman Emirate has increased during the first half of the current year 2021compared to the same period of the last year 2020 , i.e. 666 marriage contracts were performed during the first half of this year against 411 ones during the same period of the last year , with an increase of 62%. The highest number of marriage contracts was in January 2021at a 146 contracts, at a rate of 22%, while in 2020 the highest number of marriage contracts was in June , where it reached to 100 contracts at a rate of 24% of the total number.
