His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman , Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, Chairman of the Higher Commission of the Administrative Census in Ajman, awarded the distinguished partners and staff Ajman Statistics & Competitiveness Center ( ASCC) for their contribution to the emirate’s lead in completing all the surveys ahead of scheduled deadline and their one team action to maintain ASCC achievements and move forward for progress of the emirate.

His Highness emphasized that the qualified cadres have succeeded in achieving objectives of the ASCC and fully accomplishing all its missions, to enable Ajman emirate attain the leadership in the field of surveys, including ; quality of security life questionnaire, foreign investment survey, research and development survey for both public & private sectors, survey of the economic establishments, in addition to the workforce survey.

His Highness expressed his pride for registering more than 100,000 individuals in the self-count platform for the administrative Census 2020 project, indicating that work is diligently underway to cover 30% of Ajman Emirate population by the end of the year.

H.H. pointed out that ASCC has succeeded in realizing several achievements despite the exceptional circumstances of the Covid 19 pandemic. He highlighted that the ambitious cadres are currently collecting data and information on households and individuals that will contribute to enhancing the life quality and the well-being of the community as well as and upgrading standard of the government services rendered in the emirate.

H.H. stated that the administrative census project, the self-count platform and the statistical projects enjoy constant support by His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate, with ceaseless follow-up by His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Executive Council and Crown Prince of the emirate , indicating that these projects are among the most important tools that facilitate the urban development as well as social and economic planning . Furthermore , they help in the society development by establishing strategic plans for all service and vital sectors and achieving well-being and optimal means of life for the citizens and residents of the emirate.

On the other hand , Dr. Hajar Al-Hubaishi, Executive Director of Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, explained that the ASCC has exerted its best efforts to complete the administrative census project, which is considered the most important statistical project. She pointed out that efforts have been intensified to collect statistical data from the administrative records available with the local and federal government agencies to produce statistical indexes and data in a timely manner and prepare a comprehensive and detailed database on population, housing, buildings and establishments.

She added that everybody seeks to facilitate for everyone in the emirate to register in the census, as the self-count platform for Ajman residents enabled households to self-register themselves. Moreover , ASCC has established a communication portal to register families through contacting them, in addition to the field visits by researchers to some areas of the emirate with dense population , to workers' gatherings also.

Mrs. Al-Hubaishi said ASCC has realized many achievements through the great support of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, who spared no effort to offer continued enhancement , highlighting that everybody seeks to achieve the best and reach leadership in various fields.

Humaid bin Rashid reviews results of Household Income & Expenditure Survey in Ajman

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, reviewed the results of the Household Income and Expenditure Survey in Ajman for 2024 and the first half of 2025, through a detailed presentation prepared by the Ajman Statistics Centre. H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi affirmed that the survey results are a pivotal tool for understanding the living, social, and economic reality, and represent an essential foundation for developing developmental plans that enhance quality of life and support the path of sustainable development in the emirate. The Ruler of Ajman praised the efforts of the Ajman Statistics Centre in preparing studies and surveys that provide comprehensive data reflecting various social and economic aspects of the emirate, in a way that contributes to the development of services, ensures that citizens’ needs are met, and raises their standard of living. The survey aims to provide accurate data on income and consumption patterns in the emirate, enabling policymakers to design balanced development policies and strengthen initiatives to improve the living standards and quality of life of families in Ajman in the coming years. H.H. the Ruler of Ajman also listened to a detailed explanation of the survey results presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director- General of the Ajman Statistics Centre. The presentation included comprehensive analyses of quality of life, social and economic well-being in the emirate, and details of spending on education and health sectors, in addition to identifying families’ self-sufficiency thresholds, consumption patterns, and living habits in Ajman. The presentation further included in-depth results on the demographic characteristics of families in the emirate, living standards, income sources, daily living costs, as well as the classification of families by different categories. It also highlighted the needs of some special cases among Emirati families, and presented practical proposals to strengthen a culture of saving and promote financial investment. The survey concluded with a set of recommendations focusing on enhancing social support networks, primarily by empowering low-income families and ensuring they receive their basic needs. The recommendations also emphasized encouraging Emirati families to launch private economic projects by providing incentives and financing programs that support their active participation in the labor market. Agreement of Cooperation between Ajman Statistics Center and Al Ittihad Charity Foundation to Enhance Data-Driven Social Impact

As part of strengthening collaboration between government entities and community institutions, the Ajman Statistics Center has signed a cooperation agreement with Al Ittihad Charity Foundation. The signing ceremony took place at the Ajman Statistics Center headquarters, in the presence of officials from both sides. The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Habsi, Director General of Ajman Statistics Center, and H.E. Hareb Salem Al Aryani, Secretary General of Al Ittihad Charity Foundation.
