One of the survey objectives is to learn about the extent of change in the ordinary daily life practices, as well as to show the psychological and moral dimensions of that pandemic. Since Corona (COVID-19) pandemic affected the life styles and the ordinary behaviors of 70% of the community in Ajman. The findings are in consistence with the high level of awareness of the community, its response to limit the spread of Corona virus, the compliance with the precautionary measures, the availability of firm technological infrastructure of communications and the meaningful initiatives proposed for encouraging the community and its individuals to make use of that and avoiding direct contact. The sample included 1375 community individuals in Ajman emirate, both nationals and expatriates, males and females. It’s worth mentioning that the availability of services online and via electronic platforms or phone calls and launching several initiatives through public and private sectors significantly contributed to the change in the life style and behaviors of the community. Since such facilities enable the purchase of the livelihood needs, making orders to restaurants and getting learning services remotely, as well as telecommuting ( remote working ) and seeking medical consultation and treatment remotely. In addition to communication among the community individuals via video chat and video calls, ability to do exercise...etc., all help in facilitating the acceptance of such life style and practices by the community individuals, without having to get out of home or going to markets, restaurants, schools and hospitals, and avoiding the family visits and being in contact with others. The survey concluded that the high awareness on COVID-19 of the community individuals is attributed to the programs and precautionary actions implemented in accordance with the best practices in the UAE in general and in Ajman emirate in particular, which represent the exemplary global model to be followed. The potentials available also contributed positively to influence the community’s behaviors and life styles, in order to coexist with and prevent this pandemic and to curb its spread.
