نمو الناتج المحلي لإمارة عجمان 3.1%

يسعى مركز الاحصاء والتنافسية بإمارة عجمان توظيف كافة امكانياته من اجل توفير البيانات والمؤشرات الإحصائية لمستخدمي البيانات ومتخذي القرار على المستويات كافة. لذا كشف المركز عن إصداره تقريراً عن الناتج المحلي الاجمالي لإمارة عجمان لعام 2018، والذي بين فيه ارتفاع قيمة الناتج المحلي للإمارة من 18,721 مليار درهم عام 2016 إلى 19,307 مليار درهم عام 2017، محققاً ًبذلك معدل نمو بلغ حوالي 3.1 بالمئة.

وجاء في التقرير أن اقتصاد إمارة عجمان حقق تطوراً ونمواً سريعاً ومطرداً خلال السنوات الماضية بسبب سياسة التنويع الاقتصادي، حيث ارتفع الناتج المحلي الاجمالي لإمارة عجمان بالأسعار الجارية خلال السنوات الخمس الماضية من 16,454 مليار درهم في عام 2013 الى 19,307 مليار درهم في عام 2017 محققاً بذلك نسبة نمو 17% وبزيادة حوالي 3 مليار درهم.

وذكر التقرير أن قطاعات الصناعة التحويلية وتجارة الجملة والتجزئة والبناء والتشييد تحتل الاولوية في قيادة قاطرة الاقتصاد والمساهمة بالناتج المحلي الاجمالي بإمارة عجمان لعام 2017، حيث ساهم قطاع الصناعة التحويلية بنسبة (33.4%) من اجمالي الناتج المحلي الاجمالي المتحقق وساهم قطاع التشييد والبناء بنسبة (14.7%)، بينما ساهم قطاع تجارة الجملة والتجزئة (12.1%) من اجمالي الناتج المحلي الاجمالي المتحقق. ويؤكد هذا النمو مرونة اقتصاد إمارة عجمان في ظل التحديات الاقتصادية العالمية.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future. She added, "Ajman’s adoption of the new ISO standard for cities marks a pivotal step in our journey toward achieving sustainable development.
