Data is an essential component of evidence-based policy development that must be built on a solid foundation of good data. Well-managed, high-quality data must be appropriately stored, accessed, exchanged and reused. The Ajman Statistics Center provides the open data initiative for free access to the statistical data of the Emirate of Ajman. We have constantly updated this data in various forms, such as periodic publications, studies, and interactive data.

Open data is associated with a license that describes the terms of its use, which greatly improves the responsible reuse of data sets. Based on the terms of use of the World Bank's open data and the federal open data license in the United Arab Emirates, where it is based on the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY 4.0) license with all open data sets, which means that anyone is free to exchange open data sets And use it as long as it is properly attributed to its source. CC is one of the most widely used and most widely understood licensing systems in the world, so it means more people are able to use and reuse data confident that they are allowed to do so.

Data access and authorization

Ajman Statistics Center makes data available to the public to download and save it on users’ devices provided that the download link is mentioned in accordance with open data standards, and many data sets are available under licenses where users agree to comply with all the detailed terms and conditions of the license.
