اجتمعت اللجنة العليا للتعداد السجلي أولى اجتماعاتها، برئاسة الشيخ راشد بن حميد النعيمي رئيس دائرة البلدية والتخطيط رئيس اللجنة العليا للتعداد السجلي في عجمان، من أجل مناقشة خطة ومنهجية التعداد السجلي 2020للإمارة عجمان و الذي يهدف إلى إنشاء سجل مركزي لبيانات السكان والمساكن والمنشآت والحصول على بيانات ذات جودة عالية وتغطية شاملة ومحدثة بصفة آنية . وتعتمد الخطة التنفيذية للمشروع على حيث سيتم تطبيق أفضل وأبرز الممارسات والمنهجيات والتوصيات الدولية في عملية التحول الإحصائي الرقمي لعملية جمع البيانات في التعداد السجلي الموحّد 2020.

وحضر الاجتماع أعضاء اللجنة اللواء الشيخ سلطان بن عبد الله النعيمي القائد العام لشرطة عجمان ، و سعادة عبد الرحمن محمد النعيمي، مدير عام دائرة البلدية والتخطيط، والمهندس الدكتور سعيد سيف المطروشي أمين عام المجلس التنفيذي، وسعادة علي عيسى النعيمي مدير عام دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية، وسعادة الدكتورة هاجر سعيد الحبيشي المديرة التنفيذية لمركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية.
ويعدُّ مشروع التعداد السجلي الموحّد 2020، من المشاريع الاحصائية ذات الأولوية والتي يعمل مركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية إلى الإعداد لها وتنفيذها حسب الخطة الوطنية في عام 2020 من أجل دعم وتوفير إحصاءات منسقة وذات جودة عالية .
وتقوم منهجية التعداد على جمع البيانات من السجلات الادارية لدى الجهات المعنية وانتاج المؤشرات والبيانات الاحصائية بصفة آنية.
لسجل السكان والمساكن والمباني والمنشآت، ويدخل في عملية العد جميع الأفراد (المواطنين وغير المواطنين) المتواجدين داخل حدود إمارة عجمان ومن ضمنها مدينة عجمان ومنطقة مصفوت والمنامة والمسجلين في السجلات الرسمية، ويعد جميع الأفراد سواء أكان هؤلاء مقيمين في الإمارة إقامة دائمة أو ممن يحمل إقامة سارية المفعول من غير المواطنين.

كما تم تشكيل اللجنة الفنية للتعداد السجلي 2020 ، للإشراف على جميع مراحل المشروع من تنظيم سير العمل والإشراف على التعداد ، وإعداد التقارير الدورية عن سير عمل اللجنة ورفعها إلى اللجنة العليا للتعداد السجلي وتشكيل فرق فرعية : فريق سجل المباني- فريق سجل المساكن - فريق سجل المنشات - فريق سجل الافراد - فريق التقييم وضبط الجودة - فريق استخراج البيانات ونشر النتائج .
وفي نهاية الإجتماع قام الشيخ راشد بن حميد النعيمي وأعضاء اللجنة بجولة تفقدية للمبنى الجديد لمركز الإحصاء والتنافسية، وأبدى الشيخ سعادته بالجهد المبذول للوصول إلى عمل متكامل يخضع إلى أعلى معاير الجودة العالمية.

Humaid bin Rashid Reviews the Endowments Report in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. The report, prepared by the Ajman Statistics Center in collaboration with relevant entities, was presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics Center. It included comprehensive statistics on the types of endowments, their value, and generated revenues. The report aims to highlight key endowment-related statistics by collecting and analyzing relevant data, standardizing classifications across concerned authorities, and supporting strategic planning for the development of endowment projects within the emirate.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid praises Ajman's achievement in obtaining the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Sustainability.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future. She added, "Ajman’s adoption of the new ISO standard for cities marks a pivotal step in our journey toward achieving sustainable development.
