إختتام فعاليات الكونغرس العالمي للإحصاء في دورته 62 لعام 2019

‎شارك وفد رسمي من مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية في إمارة عجمان برئاسة د. هاجر سعيد الحبيشي المدير التنفيذي للمركز في فعاليات الكونغرس العالمي للإحصاء في دورته ال ـ62 لعام 2019، والتي نظمها كل من إدارة الإحصاءات في ماليزيا ، وبنك نيجارا ماليزيا ، ومعهد ماليزيا للإحصاء وذلك خلال الفترة من 18-23 أغسطس 2019 في كوالالمبور، والذي اختتمت فعالياته يوم الجمعة الماضية 23 من شهر أغسطس الحالي في ماليزيا.
‎وأكدت د. الحبيشي أن الكونغرس العالمي للإحصاء الذي ينظمه المعهد الدولي للإحصاء، مرة كل سنتين، يمثل تجمعاً عالمياً لرؤساء الأجهزة والمراكز والمعاهد الإحصائية، وكبار الإحصائيين والمهنيين، والخبراء من الأجهزة الرسمية والأوساط الأكاديمية، بغية تبادل المعرفة والافكار، وإقامة منصة لتبادل المعلومات والمنهجيات والطرق والاساليب الاحصائية المستخدمة، وفهم التطور والتحديث في العملية الإحصائية، وتطبيقها في مجالات البحوث وصنع واتخاذ القرارات، وإيجاد شبكات تفاعل للمشاركة والتعاون في المستقبل.
‎ وتضمنت الدورة الثانية والستين ما يقرب من 300 جلسة لتشمل: جلسات المقالات، وجلسات خاصة بمواضيع محددة، ومناقشات الطاولة المستديرة، وتم عرض بعض التطبيقات الإحصائية في المعرض للمؤسسات والأجهزة الإحصائية المشاركة كما تم تنظيم دورات قصيرة واجتماعات عبر الأقمار الصناعية بالتزامن مع انعقاد المؤتمر.
وعلى مدار ستة أيام ناقش المشاركون العديد من الأوراق البحثية المتعلقة بمعظم جوانب العملية الإحصائية، مثل علاقة الإحصاء باتخاذ القرارات ونوعية البيانات وأثرها في تحديد أولويات التنمية وإشراك مستخدمي البيانات في تصميم العمليات بغية تلبية احتياجاتهم من المعلومات الإحصائية التي يودون الحصول عليها. كما ناقش المشاركون في العديد من الجلسات العامة والخاصة العديد من الأوراق المتعلقة بالعمليات الإحصائية الميدانية مثل مسوح الأسر المعيشية وتعدادات السكان والمساكن لدورة 2020، والمتغيرات السكانية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية التي أوصت اللجنة الإحصائية للأمم المتحدة على تضمينها، ونشرها وتوفيرها لمتخذي القرارات في الوقت المناسب.
وعلى هامش الكونغرس العالمي زار الوفد الرسمي المشارك سفارة دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة في ماليزيا والتقى الوفد بسعادة السفير خالد غانم الغيث. وفي هذه المناسبة يتقدم مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية في امارة عجمان ببالغ الشكر والتقدير لسفارة دولة الامارات العربية في ماليزيا على حفاوة الاستقبال وحسن الترحيب.

Humaid bin Rashid Reviews the Endowments Report in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. Commenting on this achievement, H.E. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid praises Ajman's achievement in obtaining the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Sustainability.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future. She added, "Ajman’s adoption of the new ISO standard for cities marks a pivotal step in our journey toward achieving sustainable development. The Emirate is well-prepared to enter a new phase, enhancing its position among leading global cities in sustainable development." She further emphasized that the center is taking all necessary measures to implement the new standard in line with the Emirate's aspirations to achieve sustainable development and strengthen its position as a global leader in applying environmental, social, and governance standards.
