شارك وفد رسمي من مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية في إمارة عجمان برئاسة د. هاجر الحبيشي المدير التنفيذي للمركز في المنتدى العالمي للمعرفة في نسخته العشرون في العاصمة سيؤول في دولة كوريا الجنوبية خلال شهر سبتمبر 2019، ويعتبر المنتدى الحدث الأكبر في قارة اسيا.

وأكدت د. الحبيشي أن المنتدى يهدف إلى تعزيز النمو والازدهار العالمي المتوازن من خلال تبادل المعرفة بالاضافة الى تسليط الضوء على أهمية تبادل المعرفة التي تساهم في تطور وتقدم الاقتصاد العالمي. وان المنتدى العالمي للمعرفة يجمع أكثر من 200 مشاركاً من قادة الأعمال والرأي من جميع أنحاء العالم بدءًا من المنظمات البيئية والدولية إلى أكبر الشركات والمؤسسات العالمية لمناقشة أهمية المعرفة في مواجهة التحديات وتقديم الفرص لعالم سريع التغير.

كما وفر المنتدى فرصة للمؤسسات والأفراد للمشاركة بأوراق بحثية وإتاحة الفرصة من خلال تبادل المعرفة التي تساهم في تعزيز الاقتصاد العالمي الذي يعود بالنفع على الدول والمجتمعات المختلفة.

وتضمن جدول أعمال المنتدى هذا العام حوالي 250 متحدثًا و3500 مشاركاً من الجمهور لمناقشة مختلف الموضوعات. وبالإضافة إلى البرامج العلمية، وتم عقد العديد من الندوات والاجتماعات والتي قدمت كفعاليات خلال المنتدى. والتي توزعت على العديد من الجلسات العامة، والخاصة والموازية التي حضرها العديد من المشاركين من كافة دول العالم.

وعلى مدار ثلاثة أيام ناقش المشاركون العديد من الأوراق البحثية المتعلقة بمعظم جوانب المعرفة، مثل البيانات وجودتها واهميتها باتخاذ القرارات ونوعية البيانات وأثرها في تحديد أولويات التنمية وإشراك مستخدمي البيانات في تصميم العمليات بغية تلبية احتياجاتهم من المعلومات الإحصائية التي يودون الحصول عليها. كما ناقش المشاركون في العديد من الجلسات العامة والخاصة عدداً من الأوراق المتعلقة بالمدن الذكية التي تهدف إلى الاستفادة من التقنيات الحديثة والتطورات الجديدة لتطوير أنظمة المدن وعملياتها وخدماتها. والاستفادة من انتشار البيانات الضخمة واستخدام الإنترنت في كافة شؤون الحياة، كذلك ناقش المنتدى موضوع قادة المستقبل الذي يهدف الى تحديد مواصفات القادة وبناء وتطوير قدراتهم ومهاراتهم وسماتهم الشخصية ليصبحوا قادة فاعلين في المستقبل بالإضافة إلى التعرف على السمات الشخصية ومواطن القوة والضعف والاهتمامات والدوافع وكيفية ارتباطها بالتخطيط والتطوير لتحقيق النمو الشخصي وتحقيق الطموحات.... كما ناقش الحضور عدداً من المواضيع الأخرى.

هذا، وقد تم إنشاء المنتدى العالمي للمعرفة كجزء من مشروع رؤية كوريا في عام 1997، من أجل "اقتراح رؤى جديدة للتنمية لكوريا وللمجتمع العالمي". وعُقد أول منتدى عالمي للمعرفة، بعنوان "تشكيل الألفية الجديدة بالمعرفة" في عام 2000، بعد فترة وجيزة من الأزمة المالية الآسيوية.

Humaid bin Rashid Reviews the Endowments Report in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. The report, prepared by the Ajman Statistics Center in collaboration with relevant entities, was presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics Center. It included comprehensive statistics on the types of endowments, their value, and generated revenues. The report aims to highlight key endowment-related statistics by collecting and analyzing relevant data, standardizing classifications across concerned authorities, and supporting strategic planning for the development of endowment projects within the emirate.

Commenting on this achievement, H.E. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future. She added, "Ajman’s adoption of the new ISO standard for cities marks a pivotal step in our journey toward achieving sustainable development. The Emirate is well-prepared to enter a new phase, enhancing its position among leading global cities in sustainable development." She further emphasized that the center is taking all necessary measures to implement the new standard in line with the Emirate's aspirations to achieve sustainable development and strengthen its position as a global leader in applying environmental, social, and governance standards.
