أطلق صاحب السمو الشيخ حميد بن راشد النعيمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم عجمان بحضور سمو الشيخ عمار بن حميد النعيمي ولي عهد عجمان رئيس المجلس التنفيذي بديوان سموه مشروع التعداد السجلي 2020 لإمارة عجمان •
ويعد التعداد السجلي من المشاريع الاحصائية ذات الأولوية التي يسعى مركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية إلى تنفيذها في عام 2020 من أجل جمع البيانات الاحصائية من السجلات الإدارية المتوفرة لدى الجهات الحكومية المحلية والاتحادية لإنتاج المؤشرات والبيانات الاحصائية بصفة آنية
وشهد صاحب السمو حاكم عجمان وسمو ولي العهد توقيع اتفاقية تعاون بين مركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية والمجلس الدولي لبيانات المدن وقعتها من طرف المركز الدكتورة هاجر الحبيشي ومن طرف المجلس الدولي لبيانات المدن الدكتورة باتريشيا مكراني الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي للمجلس
كما شهد سموهما توقيع اتفاقيات التعاون الخاصة بتبادل البيانات والمعلومات الاحصائية من قبل سعادة المدراء العاميين لـ 17 جهة محلية واتحادية الكترونيا بهدف تبادل المعلومات والبيانات وتطوير وتشجيع استخدام مؤشرات أداء المدينة الموحدة كمنصة رئيسية لإمارة عجمان لتصبح أكثر استدامة ومرونة وازدهارا وشمولية بالإضافة لطوير سياسات متعلقة بإدارة البيانات ودورات تدريبية متخصصة.
وأشاد سمو الشيخ عمار بن حميد النعيمي بحرص ودعم صاحب السمو حاكم عجمان لمشروع التعداد السجلي 2020 لإمارة عجمان والذي سيمثل منصة شاملة وكاملة لتوفير بيانات مفصلة عن المنشآت والمساكن والمباني والأفراد المواطنين وغير المواطنين الأمر الذي يعكس فكر القيادة الاستراتيجي في دعم عملية صناعة القرار بالأدوات الحديثة والبيانات الدقيقة، كما أن هذا المشروع سيصب في خدمة اهتمام سموه المتواصل بأبنائه المواطنين وحرصه على توفير احتياجاتهم الكاملة من خلال الوقوف على جوانب معيشتهم وتوفير كل ما يضمن حياة كريمة للمواطنين ومن أجل تطوير الخدمات في الإمارة واتخاذ القرار السليم في عملية التطوير ورسم السياسات العامة من خطط للارتقاء الحضاري في الإمارة.
حضر حفل الاطلاق - الذي أقيم بديوان الحاكم - الشيخ أحمد بن حميد النعيمي ممثل صاحب السمو حاكم عجمان للشؤون الإدارية والمالية والشيخ راشد بن حميد النعيمي رئيس دائرة البلدية والتخطيط رئيس اللجنة العليا للتعداد.

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. The report, prepared by the Ajman Statistics Center in collaboration with relevant entities, was presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics Center. It included comprehensive statistics on the types of endowments, their value, and generated revenues. The report aims to highlight key endowment-related statistics by collecting and analyzing relevant data, standardizing classifications across concerned authorities, and supporting strategic planning for the development of endowment projects within the emirate.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future.
