مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية " يبحث سبل التعاون مع هيئة الإحصاء في كوريا الجنوبية"

قام وفد رسمي من مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية في إمارة عجمان برئاسة د. هاجر الحبيشي المدير التنفيذي للمركز بزيارة هيئة الإحصاء في كوريا الجنوبية ، وذلك على هامش مشاركة الوفد في المنتدى العالمي للمعرفة في نسخته العشرين في العاصمة الكورية سيؤول.
وبحث الوفد خلال الزيارة مع السيد كينغ شين ووك رئيس هيئة الإحصاء في كوريا الجنوبية سبل التنسيق و تعزيز التعاون بين الجانبين في مجال العمل الإحصائي ، وتبادل الخبرات والاستشارات والمعلومات في العمل الاحصائي وجمع البيانات، بالإضافة إلى تدريب الكوادر البشرية سواء التدريب الجامعي لإعداد الاحصائيين ما قبل التخرج أو تدريب الموظفين المسؤولين عن العمل الإحصائي والذي يتم بشكل كبير بأسلوب التعلم الإلكتروني "التعلم عن بعد ".
وتم إطلاع هيئة الإحصاء في كوريا الجنوبية على المشاريع والمبادرات التي نفذها مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية بعجمان ومنها التعدادات والمسوح واستطلاعات الرأي بالإضافة إلى البيانات التفاعلية (الخرائط التفاعلية – لوحة المؤشرات – منشئ الجداول) ، كما تم بحث إمكانية التعاون بين الجانبين في مجال استراتيجيات العمل الإحصائي السجلي لعام 2020 ،وطرق جمع البيانات الكبيرة والبرامج المستخدمة فيها.
بدورها، أوضحت هيئة الإحصاء في كوريا الجنوبية أنها أجرت تعداد سكاني ناجح ومتميز عام 2015 ، مشيرة إلى أنه سيتم اجراء المسوح الإقتصادية في كوريا عام 2021 ، وستقوم الهيئة بإطلاع مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية في عجمان على تفاصيل هذه المسوح لاحقاً. يذكر أن وفد مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية في عجمان شارك في فعاليات المنتدى العالمي للمعرفة في سيؤول الذي جمع أكثر من 200 مشاركاً من قادة الأعمال والرأي من جميع أنحاء العالم وتضمن جدول أعمال المنتدى هذا العام حوالي 250 متحدثًا و3500 مشاركاً من الجمهور لمناقشة مختلف الموضوعات.

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. The report aims to highlight key endowment-related statistics by collecting and analyzing relevant data, standardizing classifications across concerned authorities, and supporting strategic planning for the development of endowment projects within the emirate.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future. She added, "Ajman’s adoption of the new ISO standard for cities marks a pivotal step in our journey toward achieving sustainable development.
