اصدر صاحب السمو الشيخ حميد بن راشد النعيمي عضو المجلس الاعلى حاكم امارة عجمان قرارا بشان تعديل الهيكل التنظيم لمركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية واستحداث قسم الاحصاءات الاجتماعية.

وقالت د. هاجر الحبيشي المدير التنفيذي لمركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية ان قرار صاحب السمو الشيخ حميد بن راشد النعيمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم امارة عجمان باعتماد استحداث قسم الإحصاءات الاجتماعية في المركز مؤكدة أنه يمثل خطوة كبيرة في سبيل تحقيق رفاهية مواطني الإمارة، وذلك لان البيانات والمعلومات الإحصائية الاجتماعية تمثل الركيزة الأساسية لعمليات التخطيط واتخاذ القرار لدى القيادات الحكومية ، كما تمثل تلك المعلومات والبيانات أهمية كبيرة في دعم باقي القطاعات الاخرى، مبينة أن جميع عمليات المركز من إصدار المؤشرات والبيانات الإحصائية والتقارير والدراسات تستند إلى أحدث المعايير الإحصائية المعتمدة دولياً. ، وشددت الحبيشي على أن قسم الإحصاءات الاجتماعية سيعمل وفقاً لتوجيهات صاحب السمو حاكم امارة عجمان وبمتابعة من سمو الشيخ عمار بن حميد النعيمي ولي عهد امارة عجمان رئيس المجلس التنفيذي على دعم ومساندة جهود مكتب شؤون المواطنين من خلال تزويده ببيانات دقيقة وتفصيلية ودراسات متخصصة توفر رؤية واضحة لمتخذي القرار لإطلاق مبادرات وتصميم برامج تعني بتنمية المجتمع وتحقق سعادة المواطنين ومستوى رفاهيتهم، كذلك من اجل الوقوف على اهم القضايا والموضوعات التي تلامس احتياجاتهم ومتطلباتهم والسعي لتوفير الحياة الكريمة التي يستحقها المواطن الذي كرست له الدولة جل اهتمامها وجهودها.

وأشارت الحبيشي إلى أن قسم الإحصاءات الاجتماعية سيعمل مع مكتب شؤون المواطنين لتقصي شؤون مواطني الامارة ، وذلك من اجل راحة المواطن واستقراره وسعادة أسرته ورخاءها حيث تعتبر من الأولويات وتمثل المحرك الأول لجهود الحكومة.

Preliminary estimates of Ajman’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the year 2023, issued by the Ajman Statistics Center, reveal the emirate’s robust economic performance and positive growth rates. The emirate achieved a GDP at current prices exceeding 36 billion UAE dirhams, compared to 33.9 billion dirhams in the previous year, reflecting a growth rate of 6.25%. At constant prices, the GDP reached approximately 32 billion dirhams, compared to 30.5 billion dirhams in 2022, with a growth rate of 4.7%.
