ضمن إطار الإجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية للتصدي لمواجهة فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد- 19) وتأكيداً على تكاتف كافة الجهود في دولة الامارات، وفِي إطار المبادرات الوطنية للتصدي لإنتشار فيروس كورونا، أطلق مركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية مبادرة وطنية بالإعلان عن تطوع 120 من الموظفين وفرق العمل الميدانية العاملين بالمركز للمشاركة في جهود مواجهة هذا الوباء العالمي.
وصرحت د. هاجر الحبيشي المدير التنفيذي لمركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية بأن هذه المبادرة تأتي دعماً للجهود الضخمة المبذولة على مستوى دولة الإمارات في ضوء الإرشادات الصادرة عن منظمة الصحة العالمية لمواجهة فيروس كورونا المستجد والحد من فرص انتشاره، وانطلاقا من الحس الوطني الذي يتمتع به كافة أبناء الإمارات والمقيمين بها في الوقت الذي تضرب فيه الرموز الوطنية الكبيرة أعظم الأمثلة على قيمة الوقوف بقوة إلى جانب كل الجهود الرامية إلى ضمان سلامة وأمن وصحة جميع أفراد المجتمع لتبقى دولة الإمارات دائماً المكان الأفضل للعيش والعمل، مع تحقيق أعلى درجات الأمان والسلامة لسكانها من مواطنين ومقيمين وكذلك لزوارها من مختلف انحاء العالم. وأكدت الحبيشي أن المعدن الأصيل لشعب الإمارات يظهر جلياً وقت الأزمات، وأن الجميع يتبع توجيهات القيادة الرشيدة لجعل دولة الإمارات النموذج والقدوة في توفير أعلى مستويات الأمن والصحة والسلامة لكل من يعيش على هذه الأرض الطيبة.
من جهتها، قالت حصة بن زايد صاحبة المبادرة إنها وزملاءها العاملين في مركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية والفرق الميدانية يضعون أنفسهم تحت تصرف الجهات المختصة للمشاركة في الجهود الوطنية للتصدي لفيروس كورونا، مشيرة إلى استعدادهم التام للمشاركة مع الفرق الميدانية التي تتولى هذه المهمة الوطنية بعد تأهيلهم وتدريبهم وإرشادهم من قبل الجهات المختصة في اَي مبادرات تطرحها من أجل حماية المجتمع .
"Ajman's GDP Rises to Dh36 Billion 2023".
Preliminary estimates of Ajman’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the year 2023, issued by the Ajman Statistics Center, reveal the emirate’s robust economic performance and positive growth rates. The emirate achieved a GDP at current prices exceeding 36 billion UAE dirhams, compared to 33.9 billion dirhams in the previous year, reflecting a growth rate of 6.25%. At constant prices, the GDP reached approximately 32 billion dirhams, compared to 30.5 billion dirhams in 2022, with a growth rate of 4.7%. This performance reflects the wisdom of the economic policies adopted by the emirate and confirms the strength and stability of its economy.

Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, the Executive Director of Ajman Statistics Center (ASC) , stressed that "Ajman Vision 2030" envisions the future of the emirate with ambitions that exceed the expectations, aiming to achieve a leading position globally in governance and administration fields. She emphasized the commitment to embody the highest standards and practices at the government, societal, and individual levels.
