Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center: awareness of Ajman population on Corona virus symptoms exceeds 95%. In the context of Ajman Government's keenness on the integrity and health of the society members and following-up their responses to the guidelines and precautionary actions taken to curb the spread of the virus, Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center developed and conducted a survey on the awareness on the novel Corona virus (COVID-19) and the ways of prevention and combating the virus spread in Ajman within the period from the 2nd to the 10th of April, via the channels of social media and the text messages in Arabic, English and Urdu. Dr. Hagar Al Hobaishi, the executive director of Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center emphasized that this survey is a part of the consolidated government efforts exerted to maintain the health and integrity of the society members, to ensure work continuity and efficiency and to support the government's preventive efforts to combat the spread of this global pandemic. She also stressed that the main objective of the survey is to measure the society members' awareness on the novel Corona virus (COVID-19) disease, the preventive methods and the ways to combat its spread, as well as understanding the measures of movement restriction and the importance thereof to maintain the society health and integrity.
Dr. Al Hobaishi indicated that in the context of this survey, Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center received several valuable suggestions that are in line with the initiatives of the UAE government and Ajman emirate. Most prominent suggestions are about conducting a comprehensive, free of charge medical examination for the families having children or senior persons, the provision of medical examination for the vulnerable individuals, such as divorced women and widows and the provision of close following-up of the workers' camps. Dr. Al Hobaishi also confirmed that the government has not ignored these suggestions, but they will be considered and applied on the ground at this time. The survey, in which 1375 persons participated, included a sample of a number of the society members, nationals and expatriates , males and females in Ajman emirat.

Humaid bin Rashid Reviews the Endowments Report in Ajman
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. The report, prepared by the Ajman Statistics Center in collaboration with relevant entities, was presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics Center. It included comprehensive statistics on the types of endowments, their value, and generated revenues. The report aims to highlight key endowment-related statistics by collecting and analyzing relevant data, standardizing classifications across concerned authorities, and supporting strategic planning for the development of endowment projects within the emirate.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid praises Ajman's achievement in obtaining the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Sustainability.
Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future. She added, "Ajman’s adoption of the new ISO standard for cities marks a pivotal step in our journey toward achieving sustainable development. The Emirate is well-prepared to enter a new phase, enhancing its position among leading global cities in sustainable development." She further emphasized that the center is taking all necessary measures to implement the new standard in line with the Emirate's aspirations to achieve sustainable development and strengthen its position as a global leader in applying environmental, social, and governance standards.
