Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center Organizes an Online Training Course for qualifying the Field Survey Supervisors

Mrs. Hessa bin Zayed, directress of the field work, informed that this four-days course shall witness the participation of an elite group of distinctive researchers who are experienced, specialized and competent in field work. This training course aims to develop and upgrade the efficiency and capabilities of the field survey workers, and to qualify them to work as field supervisors in the future statistical surveys assigned to the Center. She pointed out that this training course includes a number of intensified lectures to hone the trainees’ field skills. The most significant elements of the course focus on the importance and types of statistical surveys, the methods and ways of statistical data collection, types of social and population censuses and surveys, how tasks are assigned to the researchers and overseeing their compliance with the instructions and directions issued and the way they treated the public, as well as following-up their work performance . This specialized training course on field work has been approved in order to upgrade the competence and experience level of the workers in statistics, as well as to foster the sound methods of getting the statistical information in a timely manner with high accuracy, the thing that will remarkably contribute to assisting the officials to make proper decisions in the future. The Center seeks to get complete statistical information on the local community of Ajman, through developing its comprehensive statistical system in accordance with well-formulated and carefully-studied plans, in order to set best standards and high quality practices, which contribute to the achievement of Ajman Vision 2021.

Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, the Executive Director of Ajman Statistics Center (ASC) , stressed that "Ajman Vision 2030" envisions the future of the emirate with ambitions that exceed the expectations, aiming to achieve a leading position globally in governance and administration fields. She emphasized the commitment to embody the highest standards and practices at the government, societal, and individual levels. This trend not only seeks to achieve social and economic progress but also aligns with the strategic goals of the United Arab Emirates and the Vision 2071 of the UAE. She added, "In our pursuit of embodying this ambitious vision, the role of the ASC emerges as a cornerstone in supporting the march of development and innovation in the emirate, by providing accurate and high-quality statistical data. Humaid bin Rashid Directs Enhancing Community Awareness of Endowments in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the Ruler of Ajman , has directed to enhance community awareness of the endowments and their role in achieving the sustainable development in the society, contributing to the launch of new endowment projects and initiatives in the emirate. This directive came during the review by His Highness the Ruler of Ajman and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, of the results of the "Endowments in the Emirate of Ajman for the year 2023" report prepared by Ajman Statistics Center.

"Ammar Al Nuaimi launches " the survey of the income and expenditure of families in the Emirate of Ajman Project".

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, launched a project to survey the income and expenditure of families in the Emirate of Ajman, implemented by Ajman Statistics Center. This came during a meeting in the Ruler's Court (Diwan), where His Highness listened to a comprehensive explanation of the project from Her Excellency Dr. Hajar Al-Hubaishi, Executive Director of the Center, and Ms. Hessa bin Zayed, the project manager.
