AJMAN STATISTICS AND COMPETITIVNESS CENTER CALLS UPON THE COMMUNITY TO COOPERATATE TO MAKE THE PRE-TRIAL OF THE ADMINSTRATIVE CENSUS 2020 SUCCESSFUL

Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center has called upon all Emirati and expatriate individuals and families residing in Ajman Emirate to cooperate with and respond to the Center, in order to make the pre-trial of the administrative census 2020 successful by using the method of self-counting, through completing and filling in all the data of the administrative census form by the individuals and families. The Center also asserted that the data obtained will remain confidential and will be used for the statistical purposes only. It’s worth mentioning that the administrative census project has been already launched by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, at the Court of H.H. in the presence of H. H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman and the Chairman of the Executive Council. It’s worth mentioning that the administrative census project has been already launched by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman, at the Court of H.H. in the presence of H. H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman and the Chairman of the Executive Council. Dr. Al Hubaishi added that the areas targeted by the pre-trial include a number of districts of Ajman city and Masfout & Al Manama cities. She pointed out that the significance of the trial lies in the avoidance of time, effort and money waste, through answering and completing all the census questionnaire in an accurate and transparent manner, and presenting all the official documents, such as the UAE ID. Card and the Family Book of the Emirati families when completing the data. Dr. Al Hubaishi explained that the pre-trial process aims to test the census instruments and mechanisms and the electronic applications, as well as to test the census forms and to estimate the number of Call Center staff, through estimating the time for completing each form and addressing errors and missing parts, after studying and analyzing the feedback and views of those participated in the trial. Dr. Al Hubaishi mentioned that the census shall be implemented by using an integrated set of the most recent technological systems, to produce better statistical outputs. The pre-trial shall be executed through self-counting method by sending SMS messages to the individuals and families, containing username and password for logging in the link of the population register system, in order to complete the entire personal, educational, economic, social and health data by the individuals and families themselves. A well trained and qualified team shall render assistance in filling in the population data to individuals and families when requested. Moreover, she stressed importance of the “Administrative census 2020” project, which aims to provide a comprehensive and accurate database on population, houses, housing conditions, buildings and economic installations, as it is a national project supporting the future strategic plans of Ajman Emirate and directly contributing to Ajman Vision 2021.

Humaid bin Rashid Reviews the Endowments Report in Ajman
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. The report, prepared by the Ajman Statistics Center in collaboration with relevant entities, was presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics Center. It included comprehensive statistics on the types of endowments, their value, and generated revenues. The report aims to highlight key endowment-related statistics by collecting and analyzing relevant data, standardizing classifications across concerned authorities, and supporting strategic planning for the development of endowment projects within the emirate.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city."
