Ammar Al Nuaimi Launches Ajman Model for Community Care

Ajman, on 13 July// H. H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, launched today the “Ajman Model for Community Care”, a translation of the vision of H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, to improve the quality of life in the Emirate and activate community involvement with the local government.

This came while H. H. was being briefed on the studies developed by Ajman Statistics & Competitiveness Center in accordance with the best practices and benchmarking with regard to community service studies, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, the Secretary General of the Executive Council, and Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, the Executive Director of Ajman Statistics & Competitiveness Center.

H. H. commended the development of this Model, which is the first of its kind at the UAE level and is a unique model at the global level. This Model aims at fulfilling the needs of the community and providing the public and basic services to the community of the Emirate, through involving the community in the creation and development of service processes and evaluation of their effectiveness based on the most prominent global models in this regard.

H. H. instructed the local government Departments to adopt this Model, which is designed to keep up with the aspirations of the community and satisfy their needs, through adopting leading work mechanisms in the government administration. This Model also enables the local government to provide leading services and develop modern infrastructure, which render the Emirate a better place to live in and ensure the involvement of all stakeholders in fulfilling the needs of Emirate's population.

This Model reflects the government's commitment to give high priority to the needs of the community, guiding and continuously supporting the process of planning and the sustainable comprehensive development and sparing no effort to consolidate communication with the various segments of the community targeted by its services, as well as showing the results of service provided and monitoring the views and suggestions of the targeted community groups on periodic basis, the matter that enables it to foresee the future, in order to develop the services and promote the levels of service provision.

"Ajman's GDP Rises to Dh36 Billion 2023".

Preliminary estimates of Ajman’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the year 2023, issued by the Ajman Statistics Center, reveal the emirate’s robust economic performance and positive growth rates. The emirate achieved a GDP at current prices exceeding 36 billion UAE dirhams, compared to 33.9 billion dirhams in the previous year, reflecting a growth rate of 6.25%. At constant prices, the GDP reached approximately 32 billion dirhams, compared to 30.5 billion dirhams in 2022, with a growth rate of 4.7%. This performance reflects the wisdom of the economic policies adopted by the emirate and confirms the strength and stability of its economy.

Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, the Executive Director of Ajman Statistics Center (ASC) , stressed that "Ajman Vision 2030" envisions the future of the emirate with ambitions that exceed the expectations, aiming to achieve a leading position globally in governance and administration fields. She emphasized the commitment to embody the highest standards and practices at the government, societal, and individual levels. This trend not only seeks to achieve social and economic progress but also aligns with the strategic goals of the United Arab Emirates and the Vision 2071 of the UAE. She added, "In our pursuit of embodying this ambitious vision, the role of the ASC emerges as a cornerstone in supporting the march of development and innovation in the emirate, by providing accurate and high-quality statistical data. We are committed to laying solid foundations for strategic planning and making informed decisions, contributing to solidifying the sustainable economic and social development."
