This Wednesday evening, Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center held a refreshing course for the field enumerators and the staff and supervisors of the Self-Enumeration Platform, in order to urge the families in Ajman Emirate to register and complete the required data.

The workshop, held at the headquarters of the ASCC and attended by the staff of the Platform, aims at stressing the importance of the continuous communication with the field enumerators, teaching and training them in a manner that is appropriate to their job tasks, improving the members performance, developing the skills of those engaged in the work and planning and highlighting the importance of registration and filling data.

This workshop has been held to achieve the strategic objectives set by Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, in respect of building and developing the capacities of the Center's staff in statistics, competitiveness and data areas, at this time where data has become a measure of the families' needs, as well as reviewing and analyzing the entire data received from the field teams and setting the necessary plans in line with the directives of the wise Leadership.

Mrs. Hessa bin Zayed, project director, stated that the primary objective of holding the workshop is to learn about the recent developments applied by the enumerators in the field of recording families and other respective data into the Self-Enumeration Platform of Ajman Emirate, as well as identifying the difficulties and problems they face while working and solving the same with the best methods and techniques as available.

It is worth mentioning that the population self-enumeration platform, launched by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Municipality and Planning in Ajman, chairman of the Higher Committee, last year, is concerned with the provision of comprehensive and detailed statistical data on the entire population and their demographic, social and economic characteristics, which contribute to evaluating the demographic situation of the Emirate.
