“ Statistics & Competitiveness” Increase Of Marriage Contracts in Ajman During The First Half of 2021

The marriage report issued by Ajman Statistics & Competitiveness Center (ASCC) revealed that number of marriage contracts in Ajman Emirate has increased during the first half of the current year 2021compared to the same period of the last year 2020 , i.e. 666 marriage contracts were performed during the first half of this year against 411 ones during the same period of the last year , with an increase of 62%. The highest number of marriage contracts was in January 2021at a 146 contracts, at a rate of 22%, while in 2020 the highest number of marriage contracts was in June , where it reached to 100 contracts at a rate of 24% of the total number.   

 

According to the same statistics report, number of the registered marriage contracts among the UAE nationals (males & females) was 213 ones during the first half of 2021, at a rate of around  32 % of the total number of the marriage contracts , compared to 117 ones during the same period of the last year 2020 , at a rate of 28% of the total number of marriage contracts.

 

The Report findings included statistics data and indexes on marriage contracts classification as per the age category, educational level of the husband and wife, and as per nationality of the husband and wife. The report findings also included statistics data and indexes on the beneficiaries of the marriage subsidies granted by the Marriage Fund to the holders of Ajman Emirate Entry Extracts ( Khulassat Al Qayed) during the first half of 2021.

"Ajman's GDP Rises to Dh36 Billion 2023".

Preliminary estimates of Ajman’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for the year 2023, issued by the Ajman Statistics Center, reveal the emirate’s robust economic performance and positive growth rates. The emirate achieved a GDP at current prices exceeding 36 billion UAE dirhams, compared to 33.9 billion dirhams in the previous year, reflecting a growth rate of 6.25%. At constant prices, the GDP reached approximately 32 billion dirhams, compared to 30.5 billion dirhams in 2022, with a growth rate of 4.7%. This performance reflects the wisdom of the economic policies adopted by the emirate and confirms the strength and stability of its economy.
