شارك "إحصاء عجمان" في الندوة الثانية على التوالي لمشروع "جعل المدن مرنة 2030"، التابع للمجلس العالمي لبيانات المدن، والتي تضم أكثر من 1000 مدينة حول العالم، منها مدينة دورال من مقاطعة ميامي داد في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ومدينة ريكيافيك عاصمة جمهورية آيسلندا، وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي، وبحضور سعادة الدكتورة هاجر الحبيشي، المدير التنفيذي لمركز عجمان للإحصاء، وفريق عمل المشروع مروة النجّار، وإيمان مصطفى، بهدف عرض بعض مؤشرات إمارة عجمان لمواصفة آيزو المدن المرنة 37123، والمتعلقة بتركيز العمالة في أعلى 3 قطاعات اقتصادية بالإمارة، وخطط الإمارة في تحقيق الأمن الغذائي والمائي، بالإضافة إلى عدد أيام تجمع مياه الأمطار لمدة 72 ساعة.

وقالت الحبيشي، إن حصول إمارة عجمان على مواصفة آيزو المدن المرنة 37123 مؤخراً، يترجم سعيها للالتزام بالحد من أخطار الكوارث والمناخ مع التركيز على ضمان الاستمرارية أو الاستعادة السريعة لخدمات الإمارة، ومواصلة تحسين الاستدامة، للمساهمة في تحقيق الهدف 11 من أهداف التنمية المستدامة (SDG11)، والمتمثل بجعل المدن والمستوطنات البشرية شاملة للجميع، وآمنة، ومرنة، ومستدامة.

وأشارت إلى أن انفتاح عجمان على اقتصاد دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وعلى الاقتصادات العالمية، لتحقيق الاستقرار والنمو الاقتصادي، وتطوير الاستراتيجيات المستقبلية لتحقيق الأمن الغذائي والمائي، بالإضافة إلى وضع الخطط السنوية الاستباقية للتعامل مع الفيضانات والكوارث، تعتبر من أبرز مؤشرات قدرة الإمارة على التعافي من الصدمات والضغوط في الوقت المناسب وبطريقة فعالة.

وتضمّنت الندوة مشاركة 5 مدن من أعضاء مشروع "جعل المدن المرنة 2030"، وهي ومدينة فوغان من مقاطعة أونتاريو في دولة كندا، وإمارة عجمان من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ومدينة ريكيافيك عاصمة جمهورية آيسلندا، ومدينة ماكاتي في مترو مانيلا بجمهورية الفلبين، بالإضافة إلى مدينة دورال من مقاطعة ميامي داد في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، حيث قامت كل مدينة باستعراض تجاربها واستراتيجياتها وسياساتها لبعض المؤشرات والبيانات التي تم جمعها خلال العمل على الحصول على مواصفة آيزو المدن المرنة 37123، وذلك بهدف مشاركة أفضل تجاربها مع المدن الأخرى.

وتم خلال الندوة عرض مؤشر تركيز العمالة في أعلى 3 قطاعات بالإمارة، وشرح أهداف وخطط الإمارة في دعم الاقتصاد والناتج المحلي، بالإضافة إلى عرض أبرز المبادرات التي تم تنفيذها في الإمارة لدعم الاقتصاد، ومنها برنامج تعزيز لتنمية المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة.

واستعرضت عجمان أيضاً مؤشر عدد أيام تجمع مياه الأمطار لمدة 72 ساعة، وشرحت جهود الإمارة في وضع الخطط الاستباقية للتعامل مع موسم الأمطار، وذلك من خلال إنشاء 6 شبكات جديدة لتصريف مياه الأمطار بتكلفة 200 مليون درهم، وتشكيل فريق غيث عجمان الذي يتولى مهام توفير المعدات وصيانتها وفقاً لمعايير السلامة الدولية.
واختتمت عجمان مشاركتها بعرض مؤشر الأمن الغذائي والمائي، وذلك من خلال تطوير الاستراتيجيات المستقبلية لضمان الوصول المستدام للغذاء والمياه في الظروف العادية والطارئة بما يتماشى مع اللوائح المحلية ومعايير منظمة الصحة العالمية ورؤية دولة الإمارات لتحقيق الرخاء والاستدامة.

يذكر أن إمارة عجمان حصلت مؤخراً على الشهادة البلاتينية لمواصفة “آيزو المدن المستدامة وجودة الحياة ISO 37120"، وشهادة "آيزو المدن المرنة ISO 37123"، وشهادة "آيزو المدن الذكية ISO 37122"، لتكون بذلك أول إمارة في دولة الإمارات، والأولى في الشرق الأوسط، والسابعة عالمياً التي تحصل على ثلاث شهادات لآيزو المدن العالمية مجتمعةً في نفس العام، حيث تصنّف إمارة عجمان من ضمن مجموعة مدن المرحلة الثالثة (Stage C)، والتي تعتبر ضمن أعلى مراحل مواصفة جعل المدن مرنة 2030 (MCR)، والتي تهدف إلى التركيز على دعم المدن في تنفيذ إجراءات الحد من المخاطر والمرونة، وذلك من خلال امتلاك خطة قوية تساهم في الحد من أخطار الكوارث والمرونة والاستدامة، والعمل على تحسين هيكل الحوكمة عبر القطاعات، وزيادة قدرتها على الوصول إلى التمويل، وتصميم، وتقديم بنية تحتية مرنة.

Humaid bin Rashid reviews results of Household Income & Expenditure Survey in Ajman

H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, reviewed the results of the Household Income and Expenditure Survey in Ajman for 2024 and the first half of 2025, through a detailed presentation prepared by the Ajman Statistics Centre. H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi affirmed that the survey results are a pivotal tool for understanding the living, social, and economic reality, and represent an essential foundation for developing developmental plans that enhance quality of life and support the path of sustainable development in the emirate. The Ruler of Ajman praised the efforts of the Ajman Statistics Centre in preparing studies and surveys that provide comprehensive data reflecting various social and economic aspects of the emirate, in a way that contributes to the development of services, ensures that citizens’ needs are met, and raises their standard of living. The survey aims to provide accurate data on income and consumption patterns in the emirate, enabling policymakers to design balanced development policies and strengthen initiatives to improve the living standards and quality of life of families in Ajman in the coming years. H.H. the Ruler of Ajman also listened to a detailed explanation of the survey results presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director- General of the Ajman Statistics Centre. The presentation included comprehensive analyses of quality of life, social and economic well-being in the emirate, and details of spending on education and health sectors, in addition to identifying families’ self-sufficiency thresholds, consumption patterns, and living habits in Ajman. The presentation further included in-depth results on the demographic characteristics of families in the emirate, living standards, income sources, daily living costs, as well as the classification of families by different categories. It also highlighted the needs of some special cases among Emirati families, and presented practical proposals to strengthen a culture of saving and promote financial investment. The survey concluded with a set of recommendations focusing on enhancing social support networks, primarily by empowering low-income families and ensuring they receive their basic needs. The recommendations also emphasized encouraging Emirati families to launch private economic projects by providing incentives and financing programs that support their active participation in the labor market. On a related note, H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid also reviewed the Marriage and Divorce Report for 2024 and the first half of 2025, which showed a significant increase in the number of marriage contracts alongside a decline in divorce rates — a positive indicator of the stability of family and community fabric in the emirate.

Agreement of Cooperation between Ajman Statistics Center and Al Ittihad Charity Foundation to Enhance Data-Driven Social Impact

As part of strengthening collaboration between government entities and community institutions, the Ajman Statistics Center has signed a cooperation agreement with Al Ittihad Charity Foundation. This strategic step aims to support institutional integration, exchange expertise and knowledge, and leverage statistical data to serve charitable and community initiatives—thereby enhancing the effectiveness of development programs and ensuring a sustainable impact that benefits the local community. The signing ceremony took place at the Ajman Statistics Center headquarters, in the presence of officials from both sides. The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Habsi, Director General of Ajman Statistics Center, and H.E. Hareb Salem Al Aryani, Secretary General of Al Ittihad Charity Foundation. This partnership stems from the belief of both parties in the importance of integrating statistical work with community initiatives, and in the necessity of employing accurate data to support charitable efforts, improve the efficiency of social programs, and allocate resources optimally to achieve maximum positive impact on target groups. The agreement aims to foster cooperation in areas such as exchanging data related to community initiatives, conducting joint analytical studies and surveys, developing tools to measure the social impact of charitable projects, and organizing workshops and training programs to build the capacity of staff in both institutions. On this occasion, H.E.
