Children’s Happiness with their life Exceeds 90%

The survey observed that the children’s happiness in their life reached 90.5%, while their happiness with their families reached 95.9%. Meanwhile, the children’s happiness with their own belongings, with the way they spend their time, with their appearance, with their health and wellbeing and with their friends reached 89.7%, 89.8%, 94.7%, 95.2% and 92.9% respectively. Moreover, their happiness with the houses they live in, with their schools, the level of security they feel and the area they reside in reached 91.8%, 84.8%, 88.6% and 87.1% respectively, in addition to other indices.Moreover, the child’s happiness survey provides an analysis of the extent of the impact of such factors, their relevance to the public welfare level and the degree of variance in feeling ordinary between male and female children, and also according to the child’s age.      Dr. Hajar Al Hebaishi, the Executive Director of Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, pointed out that the field work and interviews with the children were completed during last February by the task team in parks, main shopping centers and schools of Ajman. This team was properly trained on how to deal with children of that age group. She also explained that the child’s happiness survey seeks to learn about the degree of the children’s happiness and satisfaction with their lives, and to measure the public welfare level, and the good childhood index. As the survey offers deep understanding of the significant element influencing the children feeling with happiness, such as the family, friends, health, school....etc. She added that our wise Leadership is keen on taking care of children and enhancing the intellectual and social status of the child, as well as caring for his health, creating a meaningful social and cultural climate, which promotes the child’s sprit of creativity, excellence and innovation and helps in creating happy times, in order to achieve welfare and sustainable development through indentifying and studying the children’s happiness bases. Dr. Al Hebaishi asserted that Ajman Government always takes the initiative to study the entire community of Ajman emirate, through conducting specialized studies and surveys to learn about and fulfill all requirements as soon as possible, based on its keenness on providing decent life for all citizens and residents in Ajman. It’s worth noting that H. H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Noaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman and the Chairman of the Executive Council, endorsed the survey “Child’s Happiness” last year, which is considered the first community initiative of its kind, on the occasion of the International Happiness Day. This survey studies the child’s happiness in Ajman through various factors, such as family, friends, school, health, house and residence area.

Humaid bin Rashid Reviews the Endowments Report in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. The session was held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. The report, prepared by the Ajman Statistics Center in collaboration with relevant entities, was presented by Dr. Hajar Al Habishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics Center. It included comprehensive statistics on the types of endowments, their value, and generated revenues. The report aims to highlight key endowment-related statistics by collecting and analyzing relevant data, standardizing classifications across concerned authorities, and supporting strategic planning for the development of endowment projects within the emirate.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid praises Ajman's achievement in obtaining the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Sustainability.

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide.
