عقد "مركز عجمان للاحصاء والتنافسية" برئاسة الدكتورة ياسمين جودي المستشار الإحصائي الفني ومديرة مشروع التعداد السجلي بعجمان وفريق العمل من موظفي المركز اليوم اجتماعاً افتراضياً عن بعد عبر برنامج مايكروسوفت تيمز للاتصال المرئي مع فريق من مركز دبي للإحصاء برئاسة أ. جمعة الحوسني مدير إدارة الإحصاءات السكانية والاجتماعية وعددا من خبراء وموظفي مركز دبي للإحصاء من اجل الاطلاع على تجربة عجمان في تنفيذ "التعداد السجلي ومنصة العد الذاتي" .

ومن منطلق تضافر الجهود والتعاون بين الجهات الحكومية للتعرف على أفضل الممارسات وتبادل الخبرات جاء الاجتماع الافتراضي بين "مركز عجمان للاحصاء والتنافسية" ومركز دبي للإحصاء ليكون حلقة وصل يتم من خلالها عرض تجربة مركز الإحصاء والتنافسية بعجمان في تنفيذ مشروع "التعداد السجلي " والذي يعتبر من المشاريع الإحصائية المهمة التي نفذها المركز بالتعاون والتنسيق مع الجهات الحكومية المعنية من أجل دعم وتوفير إحصاءات منسقة وذات جودة عالية "

من جانبه أشاد فريق مركز دبي للإحصاء بالجهود المبذولة في تطبيق مشروع "التعداد السجلي" ومعبراً عن فرحه وسعادته بهذه الزيارة من اجل التعرف على التجربة الرائعة التي نفذها مركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية والتي تعتبر واحدة من انجح التجارب في تطبيق المشاريع الإحصائية مشيراً إلى الإستفادة الكبيرة من اجل التعرف الى تفاصيل وآلية العمل في تنفيذ المشروع وعلى التقنيات الحديثة المستخدمة في مجال البيانات والاحصاء وتطوير المنظومة الإحصائية، وثمن الجهود المبذولة لفريق العمل وفريق الدعم الفني على ما لمسه من تعاون بناء وطرح كافة الأساليب المستخدمة للتسهيل على أفراد المجتمع من اجل إنجاح المشروع مشيرا الى انه من الضروري الاستفادة من التجارب و الدروس والممارسات الفضلى واهم التحديات وكيفية مواجهتها وقال نحرص دائما على تعزيز أواصر التعاون وتكاتف جميع الجهود وتبادل الخبرات بين المراكز الإحصائية للنهوض بالمستوى الاحصائي على مستوى الدولة

وفي الختام، وجه المشاركون في الاجتماع من موظفي مركز دبي للإحصاء الشكر والتقدير لمركز عجمان للإحصاء والتنافسية على الجهود الضخمة في إنجاز المشروع ونجاحه بأعلى معايير الجودة والذي يعد مثالًا يحتذى به لتنفيذ التعداد السجلي سواء على مستوى إمارة عجمان أو الإمارات الأخرى بالدولة، ومتمنين لفريق العمل دوام التوفيق والرقي في كافة المشاريع الإحصائية المتعلقة بإحصاء عجمان وإمارة عجمان على حد سواء.

Humaid bin Rashid Reviews the Endowments Report in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed a statistical report on the status of endowments in the Emirate of Ajman. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, praised Ajman’s attainment of the ISO certification for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability. His Highness emphasized that the Emirate's adoption of the new ISO standard reflects its commitment to providing a modern urban environment aligned with the highest global standards, achieving a balance between economic, social, and environmental development. He added, "This achievement underscores Ajman's dedication to establishing solid foundations for growth and prosperity, with a focus on utilizing globally recognized and reliable indicators to measure and track sustainability progress. It also directs policy priorities through the lens of a smart, sustainable, and resilient city." H.H. the Crown Prince of Ajman received Dr. Hajar Saeed Al Hubaishi, Director General of the Ajman Statistics and Competitiveness Center, at his office in the Ruler’s Court. Dr. Al Hubaishi presented the details of Ajman's adoption of the new ISO standard for cities. The announcement of Ajman’s ISO certification was made during the Global Council on City Data (GCCD) conference, held at Toronto City Hall in Canada, with significant participation from leading cities and regions worldwide. Dr. Hajar Al Hubaishi stated that this milestone reflects Ajman’s commitment to becoming a leader in governance-based statistical indicators to ensure a prosperous and sustainable future. She added, "Ajman’s adoption of the new ISO standard for cities marks a pivotal step in our journey toward achieving sustainable development. The Emirate is well-prepared to enter a new phase, enhancing its position among leading global cities in sustainable development." She further emphasized that the center is taking all necessary measures to implement the new standard in line with the Emirate's aspirations to achieve sustainable development and strengthen its position as a global leader in applying environmental, social, and governance standards.
